What is Driving You to Eat Healthy?


Your motivation to follow a healthy lifestyle cannot just be about losing weight.  You have to dig deep and figure out what keeps YOU motivated.  For example, are you motivated to eat healthy because you actually enjoy the foods you eat, like the way eating healthy makes you feel, or because you are taking an active role in disease prevention?  All of the above are good reasons to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  These examples of strong motivators will, more than likely, keep you on track mentally and help you overcome times of weakness.  Giving in to a splurge on occasion is normal.  If your splurge is done in a moderate fashion, this will not "kill" your healthy meal plan.  What turns it into a disaster is the binging that takes place after the splurge.  If you keep your focus on your long-term goals and motivators, you will be able to overcome the splurges.  We all splurge, but the ability to rebound right back into a healthy lifestyle is what determines who is successful.  Think about what motivates you and keep your eye on it.  You've totally got this!  It's a mind set thing! photoviafareway.com
