Spaghetti Squash

Spaghetti Squash is a great way to add variety in your meal planning.  It is low in calories and can take the place of pasta.  This squash is also a great source of vitamins A and C, B vitamins and fiber.  Steamed spaghetti squash contains approximately 40 calories per cup vs. 160 calories per cup for cooked pasta.  It can be cooked in a flash in the microwave.  Top it with your favorite marinara sauce and you have a healthy, low calorie side dish!  Enjoy!
