High Protein Cereals

What's not to love about the high protein cereals that are so readily available in our supermarkets?  The Kashi GoLean Crisp Cinnamon Crumble Cereal provides 11 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber per 3/4 cup serving.  It is a great alternative to granola and is yummy sprinkled on your favorite Greek yogurt.  The Kay's Naturals Honey Almond Protein Cereal is a "healthier' alternative to O's type cereal because of the added protein.  This Kay's cereal provides 12 grams of protein per 1 1/4 cup serving.  Pair this with 8 oz skim milk and you have a 20 gram protein breakfast or snack.  These cereals also make great portable snacks for traveling and busy errand days. 

Diets Don't Work!

If we put as much time and energy into our long-term weight management goals as we do into “quick-fix, fad diets” we would all be successful!
