What exactly is this spoonable cheese? Well, it is has a creamy texture that is very similar to Greek yogurt. However, it is less thick and less sour tasting than Greek yogurt. It is a great substitution for Greek yogurt if you are not a fan of Greek yogurt. Quark contains a little less calories and more protein than Greek yogurt and does not contain added sugar. One 6 oz container of the plain Quark provides 90 calories, 0 grams of fat, 6 grams of sugar and 17 grams of protein. What's not to love?! If you love Greek yogurt, don't abandon it. This is just a great way to add a little variety!
