Don't Make Memorial Day Weekend a Bust!

Plan to load up on veggies and lean protein. Pair fresh vegetables such as sliced peppers, carrots and zucchini sticks with hummus. Also, make your veggie dip with nonfat Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Salads are yummy and a great filler. Try grilling Laura's Lean Beef hamburgers or skinless chicken breast marinated in pineapple juice a seasonings. Don't fill up on carbohydrates. Choose your splurge wisely and make it count! 

Also, to decrease calories stay away from frozen alcoholic beverages. Choose light beer or a drink made with club soda and a splash of fruit juice. Also, add sparkling water to wine to cut calories. You can have a great weekend while keeping your waistline in check! You got this!
